Unlike the native Azure Scheduler (Azure Logic Apps) with limited functionality, Tidal’s adapter empowers you to efficiently handle scheduled jobs, leverage REST API, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and receive notifications. It enables advanced scheduling functionality, extending beyond the boundaries of Azure solutions and integrating with Azure workflows. With Tidal, you can automate cross-application business processes, utilizing the capabilities of SQL Server, SQL Database, machine learning, App Service, and Azure Portal.

Use Tidal jobs to bring serverless Azure resources online when you are ready to run jobs in your compute instance and take them down when you’re not. Based on OAuth security access and control, you can define Tidal jobs to automate the consumption – and associated costs – of Azure virtual machines, so you’re only paying for them when you actually need them.
