The
newest release of Tidal Intersperse—version 8.0.2—is now generally
available. This new version provides several enhancements, many that
are a direct result of user requests. Major enhancements in Tidal
Intersperse Version 8.0.2 include:
- Extended support for memory leak detection and analysis
- Additional template support covering alerts with e-mail and SNMP actions, as well as log event alert triggers
- More detailed alert e-mail messages
- A SSL-secured agent-manager data path option
- Console usability enhancements for login, dashboards, alert editing and event retrieval
- Streamlined agent installation with greater automation
This release includes and supercedes all patch fixes delivered since the GA of version 8.0. For details on

Please note that as of May 1st, 2010 Cisco Systems will discontinue support for version 7.x of Intersperse.
