Tidal Horizon for SAP is now generally available

Tidal Horizon for SAP v1.95 CU1 (Content Update 1) is generally available. Among the enhancments in this release are new workflows that help simplify management of BW and ETL processes, and improve error detection and analysis. Tidal Horizon for SAP provides IT executives, IT managers, Basis Administrators, and IT staff with automation of best practices in the area of performance management and incident analysis for SAP® solutions through the use of intelligent workflows. This enables SAP solution-driven organizations to proactively achieve lower Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) for key business services before vital business processes are impacted. Horizon 1.95 CU1 provides automation support for operations, availability, and performance analysis for SAP Business Warehouse (BW).

The following objects have associated automation flows that are included in this Content Update:

• Operations Analysis – Automation flows to analyze BW process chain errors and jobs, and ETL source systems to pinpoint processing failures and provide detail incident analysis
• Availability Analysis– Automation flows to provide availability analysis for BW services and source systems. The workflows automate system availability checks and proactively analyze BW service layers
• Performance Analysis – Automation flows to provide performance analysis for reporting and operations.The workflows proactively identify performance issues caused by system load or data model design

Horizon’s automation of complex troubleshooting steps within an organization’s incident management process delivers automated troubleshooting reports with specific recommendations for alert and incident resolution.
